The Voice for Everyone Project (VEP) aims to give everyone a voice through low-cost, customizable applications of software and hardware tools in the form of voice output communication devices (VOCAs).
We hope to provide a platform for collecting and disseminating information about
TTS software and
portable hardware devices that can be mixed, matched, and customized to create
VOCAs for those who can benefit from them.
Our goal is to stimulate collaboration and development between neurotypicals and autistic individuals alike to "Build a Better VOCA".
HOW CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE TO VEP?
Respond to our polls so we can keep track of users opinions.
Suggest a new poll, or create one yourself!
Log into the chatroom to ask and/or answer questions, discuss ideas, and meet new people who are interested in this project.
|
Add your notes, comments, opinions, and new entries to our TTS (Software) and Device (Hardware) databases.
Tell us about your VOCA.
Invite people to participate! The success of the project depends on contributions from VOCA developers, technology providers, and most importantly, the VOCA users and their friends and family.
